Armsman- The armsman is the normal fighter of the realm. The Armsman may use a variety of weapons and armor also being able to carry a crossbow and polearm.
Cabalist- Spellcasters who have the power to summon pets to deal out damage as well as cause status effects on their opponents.
Cleric- Need healing? Clerics are the main healing class for before during and after battles.
Friar- This class is for anyone who enjoys dealing out damage while being able to cast some healing spells.
Infiltrator- Infiltrator's use special "stealth-like" techniques to sneak past the enemy and gain the upper hand in any situation.
Minstrel- Are you musical? Become a minstrel and use special tunes to help your allies while also being able to deal out damage
with weapons and keep yourself safe with armor.
Necromancer- Unlike other classes who have a pet, the necromancer relies solely on his pet for everything. Only Shrouded Isles users
may become a Necromancer.
Paladin- Paladin's while not only able to wear high level armor are also able to wield two handed weapons and learn chants to help your
allies in combat.
Reaver- These are a mix between Necromancer/Fighters and also have a variety of skills. This class is available only to Shrouded Isles Users.
Scout- If you like attacking from afar then the Scout(Archer) is your dream class. Use your trusty bow and arrow to deal out damage from afar while also being able to defend yourself with some melee weapons.
Sorcerer- Spellcasters who have the ability to control and destruct matter and mind, as well as body. They gain powerful spells, Damage over Time, Direct damage and can also force pets to submit.
Theurgist- Use the powers of air, ice and earth forming them into spells calling forth creatures to help them in battle.
Wizard- Spellcasters who can learn the element of fire which become very powerful.
Heretic- This class is a mixture between dark Priest/Evil Cleric. They can use weapons but are restricted to cloth armor and smaller grade shields. Heretic's have the ability to buff heal, use damage spells and resurrect mates into monsters. This class is available only to Catacombs users.
Animist- Animists are a spellcasting class that has magical powers with plants. They are able to use plant life and other natural phenomena and craft spells to hurt their enemies.
Bard- The bard is a mixture of fighter and songmaster.
Blade Master- The blademaster specialists in combat that requires him to focus on his position. They also have the ability to duel wield weapons.
Champion- The champion is a mixture of fighter and spellcaster. Champions also have the ability to cast debuffs on their opponents.
Druid- Druids are the main healer of Hibernia. They are able to cast nature spells as well as being able to fight when needed. Another ability of the druid is being able to summon spirits to travel or fight beside them.
Eldritch- They specialize in amazingly powerful destructive magic.
Enchanter- Uses magic to summon and control creatures to do all the dirty work while also being able to help their allies in battle.
Hero- The main fighting class of the realm. Being able to use almost any weapon and armor the Hero is a must for almost any group.
Mentalist- Relying on mind control and power, this class has the ability to damage their enemy and heal their allies.
Nightshade- A crafty assassin who moves around secretly using a combination of strikes. They also have a limited amount of magic skill.
Ranger- Rangers are the archer class here. While also being able to wield weapons in both hands the ranger also has magical spells at it's disposal.
Warden- They can specialize in some weapons as well as cast healing, defensive and enhancing spells for their friends.
Bainshee- The Bainshee is a female avatar-only class which specializes in Area of Effect sound-based magic. To go along with many skills they are able to protect their allies with shields that absorb spell damage. This class is available only to Catacombs users.
Vampiir- The vampiir wields a weapon in the right hand and casts magic with the left. Attacking their enemy, Vampiir's are able to drain the power which is needed to cast their spells. This class is available only to Catacombs users.However, if you're in need on some real insider hints, powerleveling strategies and PvP tactics, this DAoC guide should be your first choice.
Berserker- Feel the need to go crazy? Berserker's wear heavy armor and wield two weapons at the same time.
Bone Dancer- The Bonedancer is able to summon multiple pets at higher levels although they can only directly control one at a time. This class is only available to Shrouded Isles users.
Healer- This class heals their allies in battle with a multitude of healing and buffing magic as well as crowd-controlling spells.
Hunter- Hunters are the archer class of Midgard. They also have the ability to hide and trick animals to attack.
Runemaster- Runemasters use their knowledge of runes to craft magic spells for offensive purposes.
Savage- Savages are fighters who hate weapons thus specializing in hand-to-hand fighting. They also enjoy picking up sharp or blunt weapons and swinging away.
Shadowblade- Sneaking around in the shadows and dual-wielding weapons, the Shadowblade is the "rogue" class of Midgard.
Shaman- Shaman's are spellcasters who use a variety of combat and healing magic.
Spiritmaster- This class has the ability to summon undead norse spirits to help them in battle.
Thane- Thane's are a fighting class with some ability to cast spells for offensive purposes.
Warrior- Having no magical ability is no problem for Warrior's who can use almost any weapon and armor.
Valkyrie- A female avatar-only class who us both melee and magic to hurt their enemies. Most of her spells affect every enemy in front of her in the range specified by the spell.
Warlock- Warlocks have the ability to cast a primary spell and adding on(at no cost) a spell that hits at the same time. Unfortunately their primary spells take almost twice as long as regular spells to cast.
