Character stats

The creators of The Chonicles of Spellborn had one goal in mind when creating this game and that is to make it easy to learn but hard to master.  This allows for easy to user character stats but also allows for users to crunch those all important stat numbers to tune and tweak their character.

Attibutes

The center of character stats are divided up into three main categories known as Body, Mind and Focus.  These are linked to the class archetypes.  The Warriors have body as their basic attribute, Rogues have the focus attibute and caster have the mind attibute to dive into.  Each class archetype has three special classes and each have their main attibute from the specified archetype plus a second attibute.  This will allow each special class to have 2 attributes and they are as follow.

Warrior

 Bloodwarrior ( body + body)
 Furyhammer (body + focus)
 Wrathguard (body + mind)

Caster

 Runemage (mind + body)
 Ancestral Mage (mind + mind)
 Void Seer (mind + focus)

Rogue

 Trickster ( focus + body)
 Skinshifter (focus + focus)
 Deathand (focus + mind)

The system in The Chronicles of Spellborn offer two kinds of set resistance classified as Attack resistance and magic affinity.  Attack resistance is divided up into melee, magic and ranged resistance and is not linked to the character's attribute.  Magic affinity is divided up into Rune, Spirit and Soul affinity and are linked to the character's attributes.

Each character has three main states that will impact on their performance and they are physique(which impacts the character's run speed), morale(which impacts the damage output) and concentration(which impacts the character's attack speed).  Each one is ranged from -5 to +5 with zero being the number where the state has no effect.  The bar will always go back to rank zero of a certain amount of time.  Character attributes will determine how how fast the bar will increase and decrease.

The Chornicles of Spellborn has a PEP system(Personal Experience point) that allows characters bonuses to the attributes and states of the character if it stays alive and gains exp in combat.  When a player dies all the bonuses disappear and the system is reset.  The system is as follows

Rank 0 - No bonus given
Rank 1 - State bar zero point + 1
Rank 2 - Minor body, mind, focus buff + state bar + 1
Rank 3 - Minor body, mind, focus buff + state bar zero point + 2
Rank 4 - Moderate body, mind, focus buff + state bar zero point + 2
Rank 5 - Moderate body, mind, focus buff + state bar zero point + 3

These attributes and states will not have a direct impact on hit pints and extra hit pints are gained upon reaching the next levels.  Certain skills and potions will allow players addition hit pints and when out of battle the character's HP increases as a normal speed.  while sitting down with no weapon out the hit point generation is horribly fast and because the character is not moving and is
