Attack of the Show's Zach Selwyn makes a cameo appearance as a scientist in this episode, having been invited by the studio to appear after creating a rap video for the G4 cable show about wanting to be on Stargate Atlantis.
Actor D. Harlan Cutshall, who plays a Marine in this episode, played the Jaffa commander all the way back in the Stargate SG-1 third season episode "Maternal Instinct."
