Knight Online

The world of Carnac and its resilient population of Humans and Orcs has endured and overcome much hardship. But it was a vastly devastating plague which would forever alter the face of the world. Not even Carnac‘s eminent seers could predict the origin or momentum of this mysterious epidemic, for which there was no cure. The seers did, however, foretell of a great King who would lead a nation out of the plague darkness. The world’s dwindling population, desperate for any glimmer of hope, clung readily to this prophecy. Both of Carnac’s two great nations, Karus (the nation of Orcs) and El Morad (the nation of Humans), believed they would receive the miracle savior King, much to the chagrin of the currently ruling and divided Councils. The prophecy fostered envy and distrust among Council members. Thus begun subterfuge and the Era of Corruption and Assassination.

Knight Online is a fantasy MMORPG in which players must choose to play as an orc and side with the nation of Karus or play as a human and side with the nation of El Morad. There are four classes to choose from (Warrior, Rogue, Magician or Priest), and a second class may be chosen at level ten. This MMOG features many different zones (which can be reached via Warp Gates for a price) to adventure in and events (some scheduled, some spontaneous) to participate in.

Forming a party of two to eight players is encouraged in Knight Online as doing so grants more experience points in combat. Clans can be formed in this MMO which grants the ability to party with other members of the same clan without level restrictions and without them being close enough to manually select them. One expansion has been released for Knight Online, called The Reign of the Fire Drake, which added several new maps, quests, monsters, and bosses, changed the user interface, introduced a “Post-Office” system, and increased the level cap from 70 to 80.
